Welcome to Simply Time Tracker. Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the app.

We do not collect or share any personal data. All information — including time entries, rates, and summaries — is stored locally on your device and never sent to external servers.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Display and manage your time entries
  • Calculate work duration and earnings
  • Export your data (CSV, PDF, Excel, JSON formats)
  • Import your data from JSON files
  • Save your preferences and settings
  • Send local notifications for daily reminders (only if you enable this feature)

Everything functions completely offline.

3. Local Notifications

The app may request permission to send you local notifications for daily reminders:

  • All notifications are scheduled and delivered locally on your device
  • Notification content is stored locally and never transmitted to external servers
  • You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings
  • We only request notification permissions when you enable reminders in the app settings

4. Third-Party Services

We do not use analytics, ads, or cloud storage. The app connects only to:

  • Apple App Store: For app distribution and updates
  • iOS System Services: For device functionality (including system Share Sheet for file export)
  • iOS Notification System: For local notifications (only if enabled by you)

No data is transmitted to third-party servers through these services.

5. Data Security

Your data is stored securely on your device. No external access or remote processing occurs.

6. Your Rights

  • View, export, or delete your data anytime within the app
  • Export your data in multiple formats (CSV, PDF, Excel, JSON)
  • Import your data from JSON files
  • Remove all data by deleting the app — nothing remains on our side
  • Control notification permissions through your device settings

7. Children’s Privacy

We do not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

8. Data Retention

All data stays on your device until deleted by you. Once you uninstall the app, all stored data is permanently removed.

9. Policy Updates

We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. Any changes will be shown here with a new “Last Updated” date.
